Who We Are

Hearth and Haven Hosting is owned and operated by Joseph and Laura Sauer, a husband and wife team with two young children and a real belief that how you treat people is the work. We partner with a limited number of homeowners in Destin, Miramar Beach, and 30A because the kind of care your home deserves cannot be scaled.

We are not the largest management company on the coast, and we do not want to be. That is intentional. We choose to stay focused so that every home we take on receives the attention and care it deserves.

Why Hospitality Comes First

Joseph spent his early career in hospitality and his professional career as a registered nurse. The combination shaped how he approaches this work. Hospitality taught him how to create an experience people want to return to. Nursing taught him how to read people, anticipate what they need before they ask, and stay calm and clear when something goes wrong.

The hospitality side of this business is the part Joseph leads personally. The guest experience, the relationship with the owner, the way a difficult moment is navigated, these are not tasks to delegate. They are the work.

How We Work

Joseph leads the guest and owner side of the business directly. Every owner we partner with works with him personally, from the first conversation forward. Laura leads marketing, listing presentation, and design, and works alongside owners preparing a property to go live. The rest of the team handles operations, vendor coordination, and reporting, so that nothing falls through the cracks and your home is cared for at every step.

We have built our team and our vendor network with the same selectivity we bring to choosing owners. The people who clean, maintain, and care for your property are held to the same standards we hold ourselves to.
