Our cleaners and vendors are held to the same standards we hold ourselves to, which means your property is cared for at the highest level during every check in, every stay, and every turnover before the next guest arrives.

WHERE WE WORK
We manage short term rentals in four places we know by heart. Bloomington is where I grew up, a college town full of charm that grew up around the historic university. Brown County is home to the beautiful state park, wooded hills, cabins, and small towns that feel like a step back in time.
New Albany is our home, where we are raising our family, with a thriving downtown of shops, restaurants, and local breweries, and the Ohio River Greenway for walking, running, and biking. Jeffersonville is a thriving small town with an up and coming
downtown, right across the river from Louisville, Kentucky.

About Us
Hearth and Haven Hosting is a husband and wife team, Joseph and Laura Sauer, with deep roots in hospitality and a real belief that how you treat people is the work.
I grew up in Bloomington and have lived in Southern Indiana for 30 years. Laura and I are raising our kids in New Albany, and this company started here, with our own rental, Home at Lynnwood. I spent nine years as a cardiac nurse before I left to do this full time. That was a hard decision. I made it because taking care of people is what I am good at, and I found I could do it in a home as well as in a hospital.
We partner with a limited number of owners across Indiana because the kind of care a home deserves cannot be scaled without losing what makes it worth giving in the first place. This is where we live, and a community we are proud to be part of.
