Laura and I go to Brown County every year. We spend a weekend in a cabin, or at the Cornerstone Inn in Nashville, and we slow down. Good food, good breweries, and a town that feels like a step back in time. It is one of our favorite places, and now we get to share it.

Why people come to Brown County

Brown County State Park is the biggest state park in Indiana. Locals call these hills the Little Smokies. Nashville, Indiana, or Little Nashville, is a walkable town of art galleries, shops, restaurants, and breweries with no chain stores. Hard Truth Distilling Co. is just outside town.

The Brown County Music Center brings in national acts, and the Bill Monroe Music Park in Bean Blossom is the home of bluegrass.
